Rules

• There is no entry fee required to compete in the photo contest.
• All entries should be submitted either as 35mm color slides or electronically.
• Digital photos MUST BE shot at high resolution -- 300 dpi or greater.
• Digital photos should be saved on a disk or CD. A laser printed 8 x 11 copy of each photo MUST BE included. A color laser copy is preferred.
• Entries with people prominently displayed must be accompanied with a signed photo release. Click on Model Release form, to get a sample release for your use.
• Photographs become the property of Alexandria Transit Company (DASH Bus) and will not be returned.
• All photos entered in the contest will become part of Alexandria Transit Companys photo library, meaning they may be used in a variety of forms.
• All entries must be clearly marked with entrants name, company name, mailing address, phone number, and fax number.

Some of the things were looking for:

• Photographs of people using the bus, not just the DASH bus (seniors, students, business professionals commuting to work).
• Shots with Old Town in the photos
• Winter and seasonal photographs
• People at bus shelters waiting to get on the bus

Prize:

The winner will receive a free DASH pass for the month of October and an array of DASH goodies. The winning photograph will also be displayed on all DASH buses.
