ECONOMICAL TRAVEL

DASH charter rates are $80.00 per hour, per bus.  There is a minimum charge of one hour per bus for trips within Alexandria and a two hour minimum per bus for trips outside of the City of Alexandria.  For charters beginning after 8:00 p.m. there is a two hour minimum charge per bus.  Time over the minimum is calculated on a half-hour basis at a rate of $40.00 per half-hour.  Any time over the thirty minute interval is charged for the entire hour.

Twenty-four (24) hours notice must be given for any changes made in charter reservations.  Cancellations without a twenty-four (24) hours notice will be charged a two hour minimum hourly cost of the charter.  Calculation of charter rates is based on the time buses leave the Alexandria Transit Company garage, located in Alexandria, until the bus returns to the garage.  There is a $200 surcharge for arrival at the garage after midnight.

BUSES AVAILABLE

DASH buses can seat 37 passengers with limited room for standees on short trips.   All buses are wheelchair accessible.  A public address system is available for customer use.

HOURS OF OPERATION

DASH buses are available for charter seven days a week.  All charters, especially during peak hours, are based on availability.
