  • All shuttle buses will meet the first and last trains at their respective terminal stations.
  • Shuttles operate during all hours the rail system is open, 7 days a week, except the Landmark-Pentagon Express, which only operates on weekdays.
  • Shuttle buses will run every five minutes during ush hours and every 10 minutes midday, except the Blue Line Shuttle, which will run every 10-12 minutes during midday.
  • The two express shuttles (Franconia-Pentagon and Huntington-Pentagon) are expected to take approximately 25-30 minutes from station-to-station.
  • Blue Line Shuttle north connecting King St to National Airport; South connecting King St to Van Dorn Street and Franconia‑Springfield.
  • Yellow Line Shuttle north connecting King St to Braddock Road and Crystal City; South connecting King St to Eisenhower Ave and Huntington.

Water Taxi 
connecting Old Town to Georgetown, National Harbor, and the Wharf
 

During the Metrorail shutdown, the Potomac Riverboat Company will offer six new morning runs from Old Town Alexandria to The Wharf in the District. City residents and individuals who work in Alexandria will be eligible for partial reimbursement of the cost of this new service. The first commuter routes depart from Alexandria at 6:40 AM and from The Wharf at 6:05 AM. The ride is estimated to take 25 minutes.

Commuter Round-Trip Tickets and 2019 Commuter Passes will be reimbursed at the following rates:
