DASH Partnering with Carpenter’s Shelter to Bring Back “Stuff the Bus” Donation Drive

November 30, 2023

DASH is excited to announce that “Stuff the Bus” is back! The donation drive for winter clothing, canned goods, and toiletries is a beloved DASH holiday tradition that will take place at various locations in Alexandria from Monday, December 11 to Friday, December 15. All donations will benefit the Carpenter’s Shelter, a local organization that provides emergency shelter to families and adults or are experiencing homelessness in the City of Alexandria.

“We are excited to bring back this tradition and look forward to this opportunity to help our neighbors in need this holiday season,” said Josh Baker, DASH’s CEO/General Manager.

“Residents of the shelter regularly share their gratitude with our team about the support they receive in their time of need. The community’s generosity makes a big difference. We greatly appreciate this partnership with DASH.” said Shannon Steene, Carpenter’s Shelter Executive Director.
