Beginning Sunday, October 8, DASH will implement the following service changes:
- Line 33 Sunday service will be improved to run every 30 minutes instead of every 60 minutes.
- Lines 31 and 36A/B weekday schedules will be adjusted for better service reliability.
These service adjustments are intended to provide better weekend connection to the new Potomac Yard-VT Metrorail station from places like Arlandria and Del Ray, and to adjust route schedules so that they reflect current traffic conditions. The improvement to Sunday service on Line 33 is part of a continued effort to improve weekend service frequencies as identified by the the Alexandria Transit Vision (ATV) Plan.
