The 2025 DASH Roadeo brought monster-sized excitement and community pride to Alexandria on Sunday, October 19. This year, our Monster Truck-themed event transformed the DASH facility on Business Center Drive into a lively competition and celebration of DASH spirit.
Every year, the Roadeo gives our bus operators a chance to show off the incredible talent and expertise they use every day to keep Alexandria moving safely and efficiently. Operators navigated 35- and 40-foot buses through a challenging obstacle course that simulates real-world driving conditions, testing their precision, focus, and skill.
Our free and family-friendly event drew in residents and DASH fans to cheer on our operators, connect with the DASH team, and enjoy a day of monster-sized fun. Attendees enjoyed music, local food trucks, sweet treats, games, and city department information tables, helping create a true community atmosphere.
For the first time, we welcomed volunteer judges to help evaluate the competition. Their support added a whole new level of community involvement, and working alongside our staff, they helped make the Roadeo the most successful yet.
