Proposed FY2022 DASH Service Changes

Proposed FY2022 DASH Service Changes

April 1, 2021

As DASH prepares to launch the New DASH Network in fall 2021, we are seeking community input and feedback on proposed service changes.

The New DASH Network will introduce more frequent all-day service along major transit corridors in Alexandria, with service along these routes running every 15-minutes or better 7 days a week. The network will preserve 99.5% of existing network coverage while increasing access for low-income, minority and senior residents.

For more information about the New DASH Network, including a summary of the proposed changes, the benefits of the new network and neighborhood-specific information, visit dashbus.com/newnetwork.

Public feedback can be provided via social media, telephone, email or “in-person” during one of the virtual community meetings or public hearings that are being conducted via Zoom/Facebook. Each community meeting will focus on a specific part of the Alexandria community, but all meetings are open to the public. Anyone wishing to provide feedback or ask questions during a community meeting must register in advance.

Virtual Community Meetings will be held via Zoom/Facebook. Advanced registration is required to join the meetings via Zoom; however, no registration is required to view the meetings via Facebook.
