DASH is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2024. This week-long celebration will be highlighted by an awards banquet on Saturday, March 9th for DASH employees, DASH VIPs from past and present, and leaders from the local, regional and state levels. Other events will include a transit collectibles exhibit and several pop-up customer appreciation events around the City.
Since the very first DASH bus hit the historic streets of Alexandria on March 11, 1984, we’ve partnered with leaders and luminaries in our industry, our region and our community to build a bright future for public bus transit in Northern Virginia. With the support of our stakeholders and business partners such as you, we’ve been able to deliver and set the benchmark for excellent, high-quality public transit services for our community.
