Employee Assistance Program

We are excited to announce our new DASH EAP. Through our partnership with The Standard Insurance Company, DASH can offer employee assistance and work/life services. Master’s degree counselors are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is a benefit available to both employees and families.

What is the EAP?

Personal problems can impact our lives, both at home and at work.  Sometimes it is difficult to admit the effect that problems can have – or to ask for help. However, help is available through the Employee Assistance Program (EAP). The EAP can help you resolve a wide variety of work/life concerns, including legal and financial problems, locating child and elder care, emotional troubles, marital conflicts, and family difficulties.

EAP services can help with:

  • Depression, grief, loss, and emotional well-being
  • Family, marital, and other relationship issues
  • Life improvement and goal setting
  • Addictions such as alcohol and drug abuse
  • Stress or anxiety with work or family
  • Financial and legal concerns
  • Identity theft and fraud resolution
  • Online will preparation
  • WorkLife Services (see below)

What are WorkLife Services?

WorkLife Services are included with the Employee Assistance Program. Get help with referrals for important needs like education, adoption, travel, daily living and care for your pet, child or elderly loved one.

Who can contact EAP?

You, your dependents (including children to age 26) and all household members can contact master’s-degreed clinicians 24/7 by phone, online, live chat, email and text. There’s even a mobile EAP app. Learn more about the EAP Mobile app. The counselor will assess the problem and refer you for in-person visits with a counselor in your area, near home or work. Sessions can be done on the phone or by video. The counselor will follow-up to make sure that things have improved in your life. All calls to the EAP are confidential. No record of employee or family contacts will be shared with the organization.

Is there a cost?

There is no cost to you for assessment and referral services.  Because we value you and your well-being, we have developed the EAP and included it with your benefits.  Now or in the future, should a need arise, we encourage you to make use of the EAP.
